Décollage Magazine
My first and great job as an entrepreneur and self employer. Two incredible years editing and publishing fabulous design, art, architecture and art projects; learning with each collaborator and each specialist. A real pleasure. The 2008 crisis only interrupted the Décollage Magazine project. I learned that to be successful with a communication product, in addition to building an original and appropriate message, in an original and transgressive way, I must also learn how to read the frameworks and circumstances: political, social, economic and cultural.
Mi primer y gran trabajo como emprendedora y self employers. Dos increíbles años editando material sobre diseño, arte, arquitectura y arte; aprendiendo con cada colaborador y cada especialista. Un verdadero placer. La crisis del 2008 sólo interrumpió el proyecto. Aprendí que para tener éxito con un producto de comunicación, además de construir un mensaje original y adecuado en una forma original y transgresora, también debemos saber leer los marcos y circunstancias: político, social, económico y cultural.
When I fell in love with design.
In 2007 I edited Décollage Magazine after working at a couple of publishers as an account executive. My intention was to generate conceptual content about the design. The most interesting thing about this project was my learning about design as a concept, as a technique, as a collaborative process that is governed by an heuristic evaluation; but that must also be risked always seeking the user's satisfaction. I edited 12 issues and the crisis of 2008 forced me to close the project. Then I developed my career thesis work in case of this "failure": I designed a communication product without taking into account the political and economic frameworks of the moment.
